Community
CRT Group focuses on developing partnerships in every area of our business, including the local communities in which we operate in.
We contribute to a number of initiatives and provide the CRT Group Resource Centre free-of-charge to the local community as a meeting venue.
Some of the community groups and organisations which regularly use or base their activities at the Resource Centre include:
Hobsons Bay Community Fund
The Hobson´s Bay Community Fund is a perpetual fund, established for the local community in which our head office is based.
CRT Group has been a major contributor to the fund since its establishment in 2006.
Basaltica WaterWise Garden
Our head office is also home of the Basaltica WaterWise Garden, sponsored by City West Water to promote water efficient gardens. A number of the plants in the garden are celebrated in the Helene Wild Botanic Gallery.
The garden and gallery are open to visitors on Open Garden days and by appointment by contacting the Habitat Trust, on (03) 9290 1705.
Road Safety Program 
CRT Group is a proud supporter of the Mount St Josephs Girls’ Secondary College Road Safety Program. The Secondary College, based in Altona (Vic) has developed the program, which aims to increase students’ awareness of road safety and assist them to develop the skills that will enable them to become competent road users and future drivers.
