CRT Group Awarded for Customer Service Excellence
CRT Group was recently awarded for Customer Service Excellence at the 2007 Western Australia Transport and Logistics Awards. The national transport and logistics leader was the joint winner of the award, along with Pacific Transport in the large company category.
The Customer Service Excellence award was one of several that were presented at the annual industry event which is hosted by the Western Australian divisions of the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
Entrants were required to nominate 12 customers of varied size, who were then randomly surveyed by an independent consultant. An extensive performance criterion was used to assess the standard of customer service provided by applicants to their customers.
CRT Group CEO, Cameron Dunn acknowledged the significance of the award which the business has won on three previous occasions in 2000, 2002 and 2004.
“Being a joint winner of the Customer Service Excellence Award has capped off what has been a very successful year for CRT Group. In a competitive industry, to receive such an award, which is based on the direct feedback of our customer base is a great honor”.
“I am proud of what our WA team have achieved and ever thankful for the support that we receive from our customers”, he said.
Mr Dunn noted some of the focal points for the business during 2007 which have contributed to CRT Group receiving other industry acknowledgements such as the 2007 PACIA Health and Safety Award and the Australian Freight and Logistics National Operator Award.
“This year as a business we have continued to focus on key areas such as service, quality and safety. Our achievements in these areas have been demonstrated through our safety management system accreditation to AS/NZS 4801 across all of our branches, as well as the introduction of process improvements and innovative solutions. Such initiatives have benefited our customers, representing real and ongoing value for them”, said Mr Dunn.
The Customer Service Excellence Award was part of the 2007 Western Australia Transport and Logistics Awards, which were hosted by the SCLAA (WA) and the CILT (WA) on 10 November 2007.
